Established on 5th December 2001, Colour Creations (Pvt) Ltd is a success story built on resilience, quality, and customer trust. The company began its journey with just two employees and a modest rented workspace at Kirillawala, Kadawatha driven by a clear vision and strong commitment rather than physical resources.

In its early days, the company operated with a single printing machine, the Heidelberg KORD, and served Nine Hearts (Pvt) Ltd as its first key customer, producing high-quality photo wallets. The exceptional product quality and reliability quickly earned customer satisfaction and long-term trust.

From inception, Colour Creations adopted a strong operational philosophy centred on Quality and On-time Delivery—a principle that continues to define the company’s culture today.

A major turning point came when Sampath Bank became a key customer. This partnership significantly accelerated the company’s growth and market recognition. Through Sampath Bank’s recommendations, Colour Creations expanded its corporate portfolio to include prestigious corporate clients such as NDB, CTC Eagles, Dialog, and several other leading organizations.

In 2010, the company successfully transitioned its operations into digital printing, marking another strategic milestone and strengthening its competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving printing industry.

The company’s commitment to excellence was formally recognized with its first industry award in 2015, presented by the Association of Printers in Sri Lanka. This was followed by the Regional Printer Award in 2019, further affirming Colour Creations’ position as a respected and reliable printing solutions provider.

Recent Achievements and Recognitions:

In 2025, Colour Creations (Pvt) Ltd reached another significant milestone by earning national and provincial recognition for entrepreneurial excellence. The company was honored with the Sri Lankan Entrepreneur of the Year – 2025, National Bronze Award under the Small Category, reflecting its sustained growth, strong leadership, and industry impact.

Further strengthening this achievement, the company received the Sri Lankan Entrepreneur of the Year – 2025, Provincial Silver Award under the Medium Category for the Western Province, highlighting its successful expansion and operational excellence at a regional level.

In addition, Colour Creations was recognized for its forward-thinking approach and innovation by securing the Most Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year Award – 2025, achieving 2nd Runner-up position in the Western Province. This recognition stands as a testament to the company’s continuous adoption of modern technologies, creative solutions, and innovative business practices within the printing industry.

Over the years, Colour Creations has grown steadily, increasing its workforce to over 30 permanent employees and now providing employment opportunities to nearly 50 individuals. The company is proud to maintain high employee satisfaction, low labour turnover, and exceptional productivity, offering a standard of living well above the district average within the industry. This strong people-centric approach has resulted in high operational efficiency and consistent service excellence.

Our story began in 2001 with a clear vision and a strong commitment to quality printing. From the very first day, the company focused on delivering reliable printing solutions built on dedication, discipline, and customer trust.

Investing in Quality & Technology

As the business grew, we took an important step forward by investing in the Heidelberg KORS printing machine, significantly enhancing print quality, accuracy, and production efficiency.

Entering the Digital Printing Era

With the changing needs of the market, we expanded into digital printing by establishing a new company named “Mighty Mind Creations”, enabling faster turnaround times and more creative printing solutions.

A Major Business Milestone

We proudly moved into our own building, marking a major milestone in our journey and reinforcing our long-term commitment to growth, stability, and service excellence.

Expanding Production Capabilities

To further strengthen our offset printing capacity, we added a two-colour Heidelberg SORMZ machine, allowing us to deliver enhanced colour consistency and higher production volumes.
